REHABILITATIVE CARE

Daisy regularly takes on horses with acute and chronic hoof pathology, especially those that need urgent intervention. Daisy excels at helping these types of horses improve their hoof health, overall comfort, and quality of life.

Daisy works as part of a dynamic team to help the horses in her care. Veterinarian, both eastern and western medicine, equine body workers, equine dentists, and others all come together to help these horses heal.

These services can be provided on site at our rehabilitation center, or Daisy travels to other barns, for those that cannot trailer in.

Laminitis is inflammation of the laminae, often involving detachment of the hoof wall to the coffin bone.
